Loneliness and Isolation
Everyone needs friendship and conversation. Yet we know that loneliness and social isolation are real issues for lots of people in the UK – of all ages.
The number of people who describe themselves as lonely is growing every year, and especially during the last year's "lockdowns".
TCT Tyne to Tweed has many years' experience of working in partnership with local services to create hubs, clubs and other activities that help to tackle loneliness in our communities.
As communities emerge from lockdown, our staff Team is listening to local communities and helping them to plan and develop ideas that will enable people to meet together again safely.
